Something you could do in a town such as Smithfield is to maybe spend a day at the hockey rink. For a small price you could ice skate and rent so that you could skate around for a little bit. There isn’t much to do in Smithfield so an activity such as this is perfect for someone to do in Smithfield. History of Smith Appleby house.
The house was built in 1696 and is still standing today. Many feel the house is important because they are intrigued at the length of time the house has been around. For example in 1981 when a journalist visited the house after the wallpaper was stripped they found stencil writings in the wallpaper in which have been speculated to be the works of a previous owner named J. Gleason. It is facts like this that attract visitors.
Review of my favorite restaurant.
My favorite restaurant in Rhode Island is Trattoria Romana. They have the best italian food you could ever have and it is located only one town over in lincoln. The only downside to it is that it is very expensive so I would only recommend going on a special occasion. History of St. Michael’s Church
Built in 1875. It is distinguished by impressive stained glass windows. it was the largest building in the village other than the mills. The church was later deemed unsafe and replaced with current building on Farnum Pike in the 60’s. The glass from windows was salvaged as well as a kneeler in which the priest used to pray.
